Azar Jindal is a self-taught enthusiastic hobbyist photographer born and grew up in Delhi, India. He moved to Costa Rica in October 2017 and lived there for four years before settling in Washington, United States. He is employed with a multinational company and pursuing photography as his passion/hobby. His love for photography began back in school days when he started taking candid photos of friends and family using a film roll camera, specifically a Kodak camera.

As he progressed through college, he found himself experimenting with the cameras on Nokia phones, which sparked his interest in exploring the different types of mobile cameras available at the time. This eventually led him to explore point-and-shoot cameras, APC DSLRs, full-frame cameras, and now, full-frame mirrorless cameras.

Over the course of a 20+ year journey as a photographer, he came a long way in his ability to capture different genres of photography. Azar enjoys exploring different styles and techniques to bring out the beauty in every shot. He is particularly drawn to landscape, cityscape, Astro, and portrait photography.

Azar ventures out to capture moments in time, preserving them for future recollection. Each photo he takes carries a unique story, and by cherishing them, he can relive those cherished memories later on. Be it a solitary day spent outdoors or photographing a family in their natural setting to document their story, Azar believes that everyone has a story worth capturing.

Through his photography, he aims to capture the essence of the world around us and showcase the beauty of everyday life. Whether it's a stunning landscape, a bustling cityscape, or a captivating portrait, he strives to capture images that tell a story and evoke emotion.

With the propensity to pick up the camera (any) and capture the world at a moment's notice, He continues to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Azar’s goal is to share his vision so others can see the same, full of colors, depth, emotion, and beauty, using a combination of traditional in-camera techniques, targeted times of day, and advanced post-processing. As a result, many of his photos have been used in local news channels, re-posted multiple times on social platforms, and displayed in photography galleries.
